The intent of this blog is to give our supporters a Behind the Scenes look at the making of "The Taiwan Oyster." It consists of iphone videos and still photos of our scouting/research trips, interviews and footage of our crew "on the set" during principal photography in Taiwan.

Taiwan got drilled over the past week by three typhoons at one time. I hope the weather gets it all out of its system before we start shooting.
We moved into the Treasure hill artist village two days ago and are preparing for the arrival of the actors and the rest of the foreign (American) crew over the next few days.
Paul, Leo and Mike are now all here. The next and final wave of arrivals is tomorrow evening when Billy, Jeff and Martin get in.
Mark, Chloe and Puck have been in Taipei finalizing the greater Taipei area locations, local casting and our shooting schedule.
Mitchell and Peter have been down in Taitung finalizing all of the southern road locations and local southern Taiwan casting between the breaks from typhoon rains.
Here are some photos from the southeastern coast of Taiwan.
As planned, principal photography will begin on September 9th.
